Primary Authority Partnerships

Currently, if your business operates across several counties or your product is distributed around the country, you can enter into a Primary Authority Partnership.

In brief, a PA relationship enables a business to form a legally recognised partnership with their chosen Local Authority. This gives them access to quality assured advice and bespoke support which focusses on the areas a business finds most challenging. 

A successful partnership ensures that the business complies most efficiently with regulation whilst allowing the business to grow.

Primary Authority Update:

Primary Authority made changes from October 2017 so that every business can share in the benefits of assured advice and consistent regulation.

However, there is a big challenge ahead in communicating the benefits as more organisations become elgible.
