Worcestershire Trading Standards Service has seen a huge increase in the number of people advertising fireworks for sale on social media. There is major concern for safety as many of these sellers are keeping fireworks in their homes alongside other items which could cause a fire.

If a trader wants to sell fireworks in Worcestershire then they should make an application to us and one of the team from Trading Standards will go out and advise them on safe storage, under-age sales and answer any questions they have to stay safe.

Further advice is also available from the HWFire Safety Team.

We are asking for your help to report any concerns you have using our Report It page.
